Go to the Membership and Tournament tab and select your membership option: Club Division, Trails Division, or Both.

Do I need a membership for each division?

Yes. You need a membership for the Club Division only.

What’s the difference between the Club and Trails Divisions?

Club Division is our grassroots division where it all started. It’s a 30-boat max field with $100.00 entry fees per event. You must fish at least 5 of the 7 events to qualify for the championship. There is a drop system. See the Club Division page for full details.

Trails Division is a 60-boat max field with $300.00 entry fees per event when prepaid for the season. If you only want to fish a couple events, the entry is $350.00 per event. You must fish 2 of the 4 Qualifiers to fish the championship. There is no drop system. See the Trails Division page for more information.

How much is the membership cost?

A membership for the Club Division is $40.00. The Trails Division does not have a membership fee.

What’s included in my MCBC membership?

You become a member of both MCBC.

What is TBF can I purchase a TBF membership?

Yes, the TBF membership is an additional $80.00. The Bass Federation (TBF). We are an affiliate club of TBF.

What benefits do I get being a TBF member?

It includes an MLF Subscriber membership — it pays to belong to TBF. Plus you get to compete in the TBF state tournament and work your way to the national tournament. There are larger prizes in these tournaments. Check out www.bassfederation.com for more info.

What do I need as a boat owner?

You must carry your own boat insurance policy. Think of it like car insurance, but for your boat. This is mandatory!

Can I sign up with my buddy?

Yes. You can sign up as a team in both the Club and Trails Divisions.

Can I fish solo?

Yes, you can choose to fish solo. Both divisions are team divisions, but solo anglers are welcome.

What are the payouts?

We pay out 100% of tournament fees collected. Carry-over money in each division goes to the Championship. The accumulation of these fees and the entry fees, minus the A.O.Y. sponsor for the next season, becomes the final purse for the Championship payout.
